Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has been officially announced by Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak, following an earlier leak by the ESRB in October. The reveal trailer showcases a team of Colonial Marines sent to planet LV-558, a colony overrun by xenomorphs. Unlike the first game focused on rescue missions, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 emphasizes survival. While the original Aliens: Fireteam Elite featured squads of three, the sequel introduces larger team sizes with groups of four working together to combat hordes of Xenomorphs in various environments. Players will face different types of Xenomorphs, requiring strategic adaptation to exploit weaknesses. The game introduces new classes like the Specialist, allowing players to customize skills from different classes for a unique gameplay experience. The Horde mode in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 offers multiple maps for squads to challenge themselves against increasingly formidable enemies. In our review of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Nic noted, "Despite mission repetition, technical issues, and matchmaking problems, Aliens: Fireteam Elite remains an enjoyable experience. I'm eager to dive back in for more action." Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is set to launch this summer on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Source: YouTube/Steam
