Diablo IV’s Lord of Hatred expansion is set to launch on April 28th, and just before the big release, the game has received a patch on all platforms. Here are the latest patch notes!
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Holy damage reflected by the Reprisal Monster Affix was dealing more damage than intended.
- Fixed a tooltip issue for the Seal of the Second Trumpet that did not mention the need for Judicator’s Oath to be active.
- Addressed a problem where recasting Fortress could result in player movement being disabled on controllers.
- Fixed a bug where passives in the Mercenary Skill trees could not be selected using the D-Pad on controllers.
- Resolved an issue where enemies could become unreachable during the In His Footsteps quest.
- Fixed a non-interactive Tenet of Akarat near Sleepless Hollow.

Miscellaneous
- Monsters with the Shielded Affix now have a more distinct visual appearance, making it easier to remove their immunity by defeating source monsters.
- Monsters with the Reprisal Affix now have a more noticeable visual effect, with reflected damage appearing as a lobbed projectile.
- Loot rewards from The Tower have been enhanced overall.
- The Tower has been renamed to The Artificer’s Tower.
- All Gems now provide new multiplicative damage bonuses when socketed into weapons.

- Addressed an issue where the Bone Breaker Legendary Paragon Node for Barbarian was granting more damage than intended.
- Fixed a bug where Necromancer’s Soulrift would persist after mounting.
- Resolved an issue where the Sorcerer’s Flame Shield enchantment was not triggering when taking damage from damage over time effects.
- Fixed a bug where defeating Belial was not granting experience.
- Addressed an issue where Obducite was not dropping from all expected enemies in Nightmare Dungeons.
- Fixed a bug where Experience Wells could not be used by both players in Local Co-Op play.
- Fixed an issue where multiple Horadric Portals would spawn when completing a Horadric Strongroom in a Party.
User Interface and User Experience
- Fixed an issue where some items on the ground displayed incorrect names.
- Resolved an issue where some skills with high skill ranks could display incorrect damage values.
- Fixed instances where bonuses granted by items did not display properly in the Stats panel while in Town.
- Fixed an issue where the Barbarian Glyph Might displayed increased damage to Healthy enemies instead of Injured Enemies.
- Addressed an issue where Infernal Hordes was not an Activity option in the Party Finder.
- Fixed various instances where Damage while Fortified and Damage Reduction while Fortified displayed inaccurate information.
Quests
- Fixed an issue where the Slay the Ghouls objective would not progress if enemies were defeated too quickly during the By Three They Come quest.
- Addressed an issue where the Blood of the Mother side quest was inaccessible at certain points of the Campaign progression.
- Fixed a bug where the Blood Sermon side quest could not be completed before finishing the Light’s Protection campaign quest.
- Resolved an issue where the player could get stuck during the In Her Wake quest by using Mobility abilities such as Leap or Teleport.

- Fixed an issue where some items purchasable at Vendors did not have level requirements.
- Resolved an issue where Unique Focuses could not be acquired from the Purveyor of Curiosities.
- Fixed an issue where the Nahantu Folk Hero challenge did not unlock as expected.
- Fixed a problem where loot from the boss in Crusader’s Monument could drop lower quality items than expected.
- Fixed various instances where item appearances did not unlock as expected when Salvaging an item.
