Wuthering Waves update 3.4 launches in June with big Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab

Exciting Update Coming to Wuthering Waves

Kuro Games has announced Wuthering Waves update 3.4 is launching early next month.

The new “The Dream Not Dreamed” update is launching for all platforms on June 8th and brings with it the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration – which includes an official follow-up to Lucy Kushinada’s story after the events of the anime.

The main 3.4 update also brings a new permanent Episodic Quest alongside both Lucy and Rebecca as new collaboration Resonators, a Night City-inspired Somnoire area, new events, weapons, rewards, and more. The iconic “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” song was also added to the in-game radio, too.

Here’s a rundown on the new content and details, plus a couple new trailers:

The collaboration will bring the world of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to Wuthering Waves as part of the game’s upcoming Version 3.4 update, with a new story centred on Lucy Kushinada and developed as an official continuation of her journey following the events of the anime. Players can watch the archived Special Preview livestream via the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels for a closer look at Lucy’s return, alongside new information on the broader Version 3.4 update.

Version 3.4, The Dream Not Dreamed, will launch on June 8, 2026, introducing the new permanent Episodic Quest At Dream’s Edge. Following a sudden disturbance in the Somnoire, Rovers will encounter Lucy and Rebecca, visitors from another world, as they move between reality and dreams to confront a new crisis at the heart of the collaboration.

The update will also introduce Somnoire: Night City, a new area inspired by Lucy’s memories, alongside new enemies including Nightmare: Adam Smasher and multiple Corpo-themed Nightmare foes. Lucy and Rebecca will both appear as new collaboration Resonators, with players able to claim 5-Star Resonator Rebecca for free by taking part in the Instant Flashlight event.

Additional collaboration content includes the Nightmare Challenge, Matrix Reform puzzle event, Gifts of Dreamchasers 10-day login event, Sweetdream Tuning rewards, new collaboration weapons Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher, the Reminiscence – Nightmare: Adam Smasher Echo, and the new Shadow of Shattered Dreams Sonata Effect. The collaboration track “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” will also be added to the Heart Radio Channel and Archive of Melodies, allowing players to listen while driving the expedition motorbike.

In the lead-up to Version 3.4’s launch, Kuro Games will also release a series of developer interview videos exploring the creation of Version 3.4, including level design, battle design, PV and performance, and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners x Wuthering Waves collaboration.

The current developer video schedule is as follows:
