Sony Honda Mobility has officially announced the delivery schedule for its Afeela 1 EV, as well as unveiling a new concept car at its CES 2026 press conference. During the Afeela launch, Sony Honda Mobility stated that the electric sedan would hit the roads in the US in 2026, and they are on track to fulfill that promise made three years ago. The CEO of the company, Yasuhide Mizuno, confirmed that the first deliveries of the Afeela 1 sedan will begin in California later this year, with Japanese customers expected to receive the car in the first half of 2027. This news will be well received by customers who reserved an Afeela several years ago, and it will be exciting to see the vehicle on the road. If the prototype mirrors the infotainment system of the Afeela, drivers can look forward to a large panoramic display in the front and entertainment screens in the rear. These screens can be personalized with themes, animated wallpapers, and apps, allowing owners to customize their vehicle to their liking.
