Google Workspace users will soon notice a fresh new look for their app icons as the redesigned versions are now being rolled out widely. The updated icons feature a gradient look that transitions from lighter to darker shades, a departure from the previous flat tone design. The Google Drive icon has undergone a significant transformation, now sporting rounded corners and no longer featuring a red accent in the bottom right corner. Additionally, some icons have shed their borders, like Google Keep, which now appears as a simple yellow light bulb. While the updated icons offer a cleaner and more modern aesthetic, users may need some time to adjust to the changes, especially if they frequently use certain apps like Keep.
