CrowdStrike's post-mortem analysis revealed Glassworm's resilient architecture, utilizing blockchain technology, peer-to-peer networks, and legitimate web services to protect its infrastructure. The precise coordination of the takedown was crucial to disrupt Glassworm effectively. The operation against Glassworm serves as a model for addressing supply chain threats and highlights the importance of proactive disruption and cross-sector collaboration in combating sophisticated threat actors.
