Samsung has recently released a new update for its Always On Display (AOD) feature in One UI 7, providing enhancements that enhance its usability and user experience. One of the main highlights of this update is the improved integration of Google’s live sports updates, as well as a small yet valuable adjustment to the Now Bar feature.
To download the update, simply go to Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates and check if version 8.8.25.5 is available for your specific device. Since the rollout of the update has just begun, it may take some time for it to be available on all eligible Galaxy phones and tablets.
According to a report from SammyGuru, Samsung has refined how Google’s live sports content is displayed in this version of the AOD app. The redesigned user interface is now more streamlined and organized, allowing users to easily view everything at a glance.
Another significant improvement is the introduction of a guided setup for Google Sports notifications on AOD. Previously, users faced challenges navigating through multiple menus to configure sports updates correctly.
This update now includes a user-friendly guide that walks you through the process of setting up your sports preferences quickly and effortlessly.

The Now Bar has also received a minor yet useful tweak. This update now alerts you to any app notifications that may have been accidentally disabled, addressing a common issue where certain alerts may not appear. This small change can help prevent confusion when trying to locate missing notifications.
