Based in Tel Aviv with offices in Palo Alto, LA, Taiwan, and Singapore, Sightful has unveiled the groundbreaking Spacetop G1, the world’s first commercially available augmented reality laptop that offers a spacious 100-inch virtual workspace in a portable design. This innovative device is designed to enhance productivity and privacy in today’s “work from anywhere” setting.

The Spacetop G1 is now available for pre-order for $100 on Sightful’s website, with shipping scheduled for October 2024 at a price of $1900.

The Spacetop G1 is a result of the Spacetop EA program, which aims to showcase the feasibility of an AR laptop. The G1 takes this concept further with improved design and features, including portability, sleek AR glasses, and advanced performance capabilities.

The G1 is optimized for spatial AI, integrating onboard AI capabilities and ample workspace for web-based AI tools. It leverages a strong partner network that includes Qualcomm, Wistron, and XREAL for hardware and manufacturing support.

Sightful’s CEO and co-founder, Tamir Berliner, emphasizes the company’s dedication to seamlessly incorporating AR into daily life while overcoming the limitations of bulky headsets and short battery life. Founded by former Magic Leap executives Tamir Berliner and Tomer Kahan, Sightful boasts a rapidly expanding team and has secured $61 million in venture funding from investors like Corner Ventures and Aleph Capital.
