Activision and Treyarch Release Black Ops 6 Zombies Gameplay Reveal Trailer
Activision and Treyarch have unveiled the gameplay reveal trailer for Black Ops 6 Zombies game mode, showcasing intense zombie fighting action in the Terminus map. The trailer also features a speed boat, adding an intriguing element to the gameplay. A reveal for the Liberty Falls map is scheduled for 28th August during Call of Duty: Next.
The game mode in Black Ops 6 is described as “round-based”, reminiscent of classic zombies modes, in contrast to the open-world format introduced in Modern Warfare 3. This return to traditional gameplay is a response to fan feedback and aims to deliver a more immersive experience for players, similar to the approach taken in Call of Duty: WWII.
The cinematic reveal of the Terminus map sets the stage in the Philippine Sea, at a remote US naval base that has been transformed into a CIA outpost and subterranean laboratory. Players will join the Requiem crew as they break free from confinement and uncover the secrets of Project Janus, engaging in intense battles along the way.
Players are encouraged to select Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo as their characters to fully immerse themselves in the rich story experience offered by the game.
Returning to the round-based format means that players can expect familiar zombies mode features, including a main quest, side-content, easter eggs, and the ultimate challenge of extraction. The game also offers a variety of customization options for character builds, with perks, weapons, loadouts, field upgrade abilities, and classic elements like perk-a-colas and pack-a-punch.
