Record-Low £449 Price Returns – Tech Advisor

We may not be in the deals season right now, but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from reintroducing one of 2026’s best phone bargains.

Despite launching last September, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE remains our favorite mid-range phone, even if you usually pay £649.

But with a massive 31% discount, you can now get one for just £449. It probably comes as no surprise to learn that it’s the lowest price the phone has ever been. It matches what we saw during Amazon Prime Day in July, but the difference this time is that you don’t need to be a member to benefit – the deal is available to everyone.

The offer applies to Jet Black, Icy Blue, and White models with 128GB of storage, but if you need more, there’s also £200 off the 256GB. Its new £499 price tag is also the lowest it’s ever been.

In the US? While not as steep a discount, Amazon is offering the 256GB model of the Galaxy S25 FE for $642.88 – that’s a tidy 14% discount, and even lower than during Prime Day, albeit not its lowest-ever price. It’s also only available in the Icy Blue colorway.

What the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has to offer

The fact that the Galaxy S25 FE is still the best mid-range phone almost a year after it was released speaks volumes. That’s because it offers a near-perfect blend of premium hardware and slick software that closely mimics flagships.

In my 4.5-star review, I praised the S25 FE’s excellent build quality, superb battery life, and strong main and selfie cameras (a.k.a. the lenses you’ll use the most). Performance is also very solid unless you’re planning on demanding gaming.

Samsung also has the upper hand on most rivals in the software department, with One UI 8 delivering an intuitive user interface with tons of customization options. Six more years of software updates is the icing on the cake.

However, it’s not perfect, with underwhelming ultrawide and telephoto cameras the main disappointment. While I encountered some software bugs during testing, these are almost certain to have been fixed by now.

Why it’s a good deal

I could easily recommend the 256GB model of the Galaxy S25 FE at its full £649 RRP. To see a £200 discount on a device that’s so well future-proofed makes it a no-brainer if you’re looking for a mid-range phone.

Sure, a successor in the Galaxy S26 FE is rumored to launch on 4 September, but all signs point to it being an underwhelming, minor update. It could also be even more expensive, given the ongoing global RAM shortage.

With that in mind, I doubt you’ll be disappointed if you opt for the Galaxy S25 FE now. Given that it’s now well under half the price of most flagship phones, your wallet will certainly thank you.
