Outbound Release Delayed to May 14th
Outbound, the highly anticipated game from Square Glade Games, has been delayed by a few weeks. The development team has encountered an issue that needs to be resolved, causing the original release date of April 23rd to be pushed back. The exact nature of the issue has not been disclosed, but Square Glade Games has issued a statement regarding the delay, announcing the new release date of May 14th.
Square Glade Games explained, “We regret to inform you that Outbound will now be released on May 14th. During the final stages of development, we identified an issue that could impact your gaming experience. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to resolve it in time for the initial release date. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that this delay will result in a more polished and enjoyable game. As a token of appreciation for your patience, we will be extending the free demo until May 12th. Get ready to hit the road on May 14th!”
In Outbound, players will embark on a journey through a cozy near-utopian world in their camper, which can be customized with various upgrades for a more comfortable experience. Players can also choose to adopt a pet to accompany them on their road trip, and the game supports four-player co-op for multiplayer adventures. Outbound will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Switch, and Switch 2.
