If you happened to catch the Dawn of War 4 trailer featuring the Adeptus Mechanicus faction, you may have noticed a mech that appears to be dancing in place. This lively little machine seems eager to join the battle. However, its constant movement serves a much deeper purpose in the lore.
“They must never cease their motion,” explains Jan Theysen, creative director of Dawn of War 4. “The Adeptus Mechanicus live in constant fear that if they power down, they may never be able to restart. Hence, they maintain perpetual motion to prevent this from happening.”
