A recent update for the block-building adventure game Hytale has introduced some exciting new features. Players can now encounter dinosaurs roaming the underground jungles, adding an element of danger to the game. These dinosaurs are still a work in progress, so players should be cautious when encountering them. Additionally, the in-game bedtime has been changed to half past seven.
The update includes a detailed list of changes, such as the addition of NPCs like dinosaurs in the underground jungles. These NPCs currently have placeholder behavior and can be found in unexplored areas of the biome. Other changes include knockback resistance for certain creatures, adjustments to fox behavior, and fire-themed characters being immune to fire damage. Developers have also made tweaks to Kweebecs and Trorks.
In addition, the character creator now offers more customization options, and the audio/visual effects of hitting and breaking materials have been enhanced. The bedtime feature has also been adjusted to allow players to sleep from 7:30 PM onwards, compared to the previous 9:00 PM bedtime.
The update also addresses various bug fixes and crash prevention measures, as well as quality-of-life improvements like ensuring weapon attacks consider line of sight. Players can further enhance their gameplay experience with mods that offer additional tweaks and features.
