Bandai Namco Unveils 10 Minutes of Elden Ring Nightreign Footage
Bandai Namco has recently unveiled a 10-minute gameplay footage of Elden Ring Nightreign, showcasing the game’s systems and characters. The video provides an in-depth look at the world of Limveld, the diverse characters available for players to choose from, and the new gameplay systems that set Nightreign apart from its predecessor, Elden Ring.
In Elden Ring Nightreign, the world of Limveld is a challenging and dynamic environment. Players will encounter powerful enemies, military bases teeming with soldiers, and unpredictable events that can alter the course of their journey. Players have the option to explore Limveld in groups of three or venture out alone to uncover the secrets of the land. From dungeons brimming with loot to bases holding valuable information, every corner of Limveld offers new discoveries. However, players must remain vigilant as the landscape of Limveld is ever-changing, with meteor strikes, lava eruptions, and sudden forest appearances reshaping the terrain. As night falls, players must prepare for intense battles against formidable foes, making strategic use of the day to level up and acquire top-tier gear.
Character customization in Nightreign differs from its predecessor, as players must now choose from six distinct heroes with unique abilities and playstyles. Whether wielding massive weapons as a Raider, sniping enemies from a distance as Ironeye, or mastering all skills as Wylder, each hero offers a different gameplay experience. Players will gradually uncover the heroes’ backstories and true identities through memory fragments, unlocking new objectives along the way.
When not engaged in combat, players can seek refuge at the Roundtable Hold, a hub where they can equip relics with various effects, purchase items from a Jar merchant, and unlock new costumes using in-game currency to customize their character’s appearance.
Elden Ring Nightreign is set to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on May 30th.
