Along with the console release, the Steam version of Content Warning has received an update, introducing crossplay functionality. Players can now team up with friends on different platforms using friend codes. Additionally, the game is now verified for Steam Deck compatibility, offering a seamless gaming experience for Steam users.

Content Warning Patch Notes:

  • Enabled crossplay feature and added it to settings menu
  • Fixed a bug preventing users with Unicode characters in their PC name from recording videos
  • Game is now Steam Deck verified
  • Improved localization and fixed missing characters in different fonts
  • Addressed multiple aspect ratio bugs

Originally released for PC on April 1st, Content Warning was initially offered for free as part of a playful prank. However, the game’s popularity soared, drawing over 6 million downloads and selling an additional 2 million copies after the free promotion ended.

Content Warning offers a unique blend of horror and cooperative gameplay. Players aim to become SpookTube sensations by exploring terrifying locations, capturing spooky footage, and surviving to upload their videos for fame and fortune.
