EA has released the gameplay trailer for Battlefield 6 Season 3, set to launch on May 12th. Get a sneak peek at the revamped maps, new weapons, and a standout player who’s dominating the game.
Season 3 of Battlefield 6 introduces exciting updates, including two remade maps from Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. Golmud Railway is now Railway to Golmud, while Grand Bazaar has transformed into Cairo Bazaar, both redesigned in the modern engine to suit the Pax Armata war setting with added destructible elements.
Players can also unlock and wield new weapons like the L115 sniper rifle, M16A4 assault rifle, RPK-74M light machine-gun, and PP-19 submachine-gun. Keep an eye out for the new character models as well!
A new game mode, Obliteration from BF4, has been added, where teams must deliver a bomb to an objective and defend it until detonation. Additionally, a ranked mode has been introduced for REDSEC battle royale enthusiasts.
Looking ahead, Season 4 in July will focus on water warfare, featuring remakes of Wake Island and Tsuru Reef with aircraft carriers and dynamic wave systems. Updates also include custom lobbies, spectator mode, server browsers with persistent servers, Platoons clan system, proximity chat, and revisions to maps like New Sobek City and Blackwell Fields.
As EA aims to keep players engaged with fresh content, Battlefield 6 continues to thrive as a modern warfare shooter, reminiscent of fan-favorite BF4 and BF3. With competition from upcoming Call of Duty titles, the pressure is on to maintain player interest and loyalty.
