Apple Brings Back Hikawa MagSafe iPhone Grip Globally

Apple is reintroducing a limited-edition accessory from last year as part of its 2026 AI accessibility features. The Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand, designed by Bailey Hikawa, is now part of Apple’s global accessory lineup. This unique accessory was created to help individuals with disabilities that affect motor skills, grip strength, and stability hold onto their iPhones more easily. It attaches via MagSafe, making it compatible with a wide range of iPhone models.

The original Hikawa grip sold out quickly due to its popularity, but Apple has now partnered with PopSockets to mass-produce the accessory in three new colors — Glow Blue, Orange Swirl, and Speckled Stone — at a lower price of $54.95. Bailey Hikawa expressed her excitement about the collaboration and the opportunity to create a product that promotes accessibility and inclusivity.

The new Hikawa Grip & Stand features a premium silicone material with a soft-touch feel, offering comfortable ways to hold an iPhone and prop it up in landscape or portrait orientations. The accessory is available for order on the Apple Store, with shipping times expected to be a few weeks out.

Apple has also announced a Today at Apple session featuring Bailey Hikawa, author Shane Burcaw, and actor Alex Barone to discuss the role of the iPhone as an assistive technology and the importance of accessible design in creating inclusive experiences for all.
