Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - Seismic Talus Boss Guide

The Seismic Talus, a formidable foe in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, poses a significant challenge. However, as the saying goes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Unlike previous encounters in the game where players had the freedom to devise their own strategies, boss battles in Echoes of Wisdom require a more focused approach.

When facing bosses like the Seismic Talus, utilizing the Swordfighter form obtained in Suthorn Ruins is crucial. Bosses often have specific weak points that are easier to target with a sword rather than an Echo. It is essential to capitalize on the limited opportunities presented by these weak points efficiently, which is more manageable with a sword.

When swordfighter energy is available, approaching the orb and striking it with the sword is the most effective method. If swordfighter energy is depleted, summoning the Darknut Echo is recommended. The Darknut’s metal suit can withstand the Talus’ stone-based attacks, allowing it to reach the glowing orb.

Once the orb is dislodged from the Talus, players can inflict damage using any means, with the sword being the most efficient. Energy pickups are also obtained when the orb is removed, providing additional resources for the battle.

In the second phase, the orb relocates to the Talus’ shoulder. The optimal strategy is to wait for the Talus to slam its hands onto the ground and then swipe at the orb with the sword while it is within reach.

If energy is depleted, positioning oneself next to the Talus and summoning a Darknut when it is immobilized can help target the orb effectively.

Upon enraging the Talus, the orb shifts to the top of its head in the final phase. Players can use the Talus’ hands as a pathway to reach the orb and strike it with the sword to conclude the battle.

Victory rewards players with a full Heart Container and unlocks new abilities for Tri, offering a choice between exploring the Gerudo Desert or Zora Villages in the expansive world of Echoes of Wisdom.
