Your Next Amazon Order Could Arrive in Half an Hour

If you thought same-day delivery was fast, Amazon is now testing 30-minute deliveries in Seattle and Philadelphia. This initiative, called “Amazon Now,” focuses on delivering household essentials to customers’ doorsteps in record time.

Amazon Now brings thousands of household essential items and groceries to customers’ doorsteps in about 30 minutes or less, building on our decades of delivery innovation.

While same-day delivery is free for Prime members, Amazon Now deliveries come at an additional cost. Prime subscribers pay $3.99 per order, while non-Prime customers pay $13.99. There’s also a $1.99 “small basket fee” for orders under $15.

The selection of items available for ultra-fast delivery includes groceries, personal care products, household essentials, and small electronics. Eligible customers in Seattle and Philadelphia can check for the “30-Minute Delivery” option on the Amazon app or website.

Amazon’s move towards faster deliveries is aimed at competing with services like DoorDash and Instacart. While this is not Amazon’s first foray into rapid delivery, it shows the company’s commitment to meeting customer demands for quick and efficient service.
