Hello everyone, I’m Kit Navock, the newly appointed CMO at Immersed. Recently, I made the decision to sell my company. Like many founders after an acquisition, I found myself reflecting on the kind of work and people I wanted to align with in the future. In a nutshell, I joined Immersed as its CMO because I truly resonate with the company’s vision. Now, those who share this vision can join us on our journey by becoming investors as we continue to drive forward! But first, let me share how I arrived at this pivotal moment.
Immersed had been on my radar for some time. I was an early investor years ago and gradually got to know the team through organic interactions—movie nights, shared meals, brainstorming sessions at their Austin office. I even hired someone from their circle of friends at my previous company. What began as curiosity evolved into deep admiration. These individuals were not only intelligent but also genuinely good-hearted—determined, aspirational, humble, and mission-oriented.
Fast forward to a few months ago, I casually messaged Renji (Immersed’s founder) about basketball news. His response?
“You should come work with us.”
Initially, it wasn’t a clear-cut decision. I entertained his suggestion out of courtesy. Despite knowing him for years, Renji has a compelling presence. His words lingered in my mind for days. I consulted my closest friends and mentors, sharing that I was content with my current consulting setup, having recently sold a company and finally allowing myself to slow down a bit. However, this opportunity felt different.
And unanimously, they all echoed the same sentiment: You should seize this opportunity.
I accepted a lower salary compared to previous years, with equity that may not be immediately liquid. Yet, my decision wasn’t driven by immediate gains but by my belief in the team and the product, envisioning it as a potential tech powerhouse. When I finally immersed myself in what they were creating, my perspective underwent a profound shift. It all fell into place.

Visor: The XR Device That Defies Expectations
Admittedly, I’m relatively new to XR.
While not a stranger to technology, the AR/VR realm was uncharted territory for me. I wasn’t the individual experimenting with sensors on my face or tinkering with OpenVR builds back in 2016. I consider myself more mainstream—a novice. I had purchased an Apple Vision Pro simply to explore the realm of spatial computing.
The experience was generally positive. I noticed increased productivity and focus. Then, I encountered Visor—Immersed’s proprietary headset—and it exceeded all my expectations.
Weighing approximately 186g (lighter than my phone) and resembling thick sunglasses, Visor operates independently with dual 4K micro-OLED displays and a 3-hour battery life. More significantly, it is tailored for practical tools such as VS Code, Figma, email, Blender, terminal, tabs, and even Netflix. It didn’t feel like a mere extension to my computer setup.
Visor isn’t a prototype.
It isn’t a toy.
It isn’t cumbersome.
It isn’t priced exorbitantly at $3,499.
It simply integrates seamlessly into a typical workday.
Although I may be a newcomer in this domain, even I can discern that Visor transcends the prototype phase. It represents the first headset that made me realize, “Ah, this is ready for widespread adoption.”
From App to Platform (and AI Co-Pilot)
If you’ve utilized Immersed (which is highly probable), you’re already acquainted with its status as the most utilized AR/VR productivity application globally. Offering multi-monitor AR/VR workspaces, low-latency streaming, and real-time cross-platform collaboration, Immersed has facilitated tens of millions of sessions and boasts thousands of power users engaged in genuine work within the XR landscape.
With Visor, we’re transcending the realm of a mere app. It serves as the gateway to a comprehensive spatial computing platform—an operating system designed for focus, deep work, and native 3D tools (not mere floating 2D windows). In my perception, this mirrors Steve Jobs’ approach to Apple; he envisaged constructing an entire ecosystem.
What truly solidified this perspective for me was Curator AI—an integrated co-pilot that comprehends my workflow, minimizes context switching, and subtly enhances my productivity. It isn’t a superficial add-on; rather, it forms the connective tissue of the platform. I believe many share my sentiment that this embodies the essence of what we envisioned Siri to be presently, yet it falls short.
Furthermore, the convergence of the Immersed platform, Visor, and Curator AI propels us beyond conventional LLMs into the physical realm. Being OpenXR-compatible, developers can seamlessly build atop this foundation—whether crafting tools, agents, or complete applications.
This isn’t about transplanting your desktop into a 3D environment. It’s about crafting spatial productivity from the ground up—with AI ingrained from day one. It caters to the innovators and creators.
Why This Significance is Amplified Now
I didn’t join Immersed merely to discuss screens hovering in space and interactive avatars. I became part of this journey because I firmly believe that spatial computing will revolutionize how we work and live. The amalgamation of immersive settings, native tools, and continuous AI support constitutes a significant leap—and it’s approaching faster than most anticipate. I am convinced that the individuals at Immersed possess the vision, technological prowess, and human capital required to actualize this transformation. That’s my motivation for joining.
This isn’t solely for enthusiasts. What Immersed is crafting caters to engineers, designers, traders, artists, founders, filmmakers—individuals engaged in screen-based work. As AI agents and humanoid robotics evolve, the value of an immersive spatial platform that seamlessly integrates will only escalate.
Visor transcends being a mere headset. The Immersed platform surpasses the confines of a virtual reality workspace for work purposes. Curator extends beyond a mere LLM AI agent. Collectively, they form an ecosystem empowering us all to elevate our endeavors.
We’re thrilled to share this journey with all of you.
If you’ve been anticipating the emergence of the right headset—and the right company steering its development—this is your opportunity to be part of the narrative. Join Immersed in democratizing spatial computing.
