Cloud Games, the developer behind The Relic: First Guardian, has unveiled an exciting extended gameplay trailer for their upcoming semi open world action RPG. The trailer showcases a mission where the protagonist, known as the Guardian, navigates through a burning village under siege.
In the extended gameplay trailer for The Relic: First Guardian, viewers get a glimpse of the fast-paced combat mechanics as the Guardian wields twin daggers. With a total of five weapon options, each with unique skills, players must strategically equip themselves with runes, items, and crafting tools to succeed in their missions. The game features 70 challenging bosses, all inspired by Korean folklore, each with their own intricate backstory. In this particular mission, players will face off against Branka the Blood Stained Shield, the ruthless leader behind the village massacre.
The narrative of The Relic: First Guardian unfolds in the world of Arsiltus, which was consumed by the void following the destruction of a powerful relic. Players must embark on a quest to retrieve the fragmented relic pieces scattered across Arsiltus while confronting the newfound perils that threaten the realm. The ultimate goal is to restore Arsiltus and seal the void. The game is slated for release in 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS.
