Cold Symmetry and Playstack have recently unveiled the first extended gameplay footage of Mortal Shell II, along with announcing the details for signing up for the upcoming open beta. The gameplay footage showcases three different Shells – Tiel, The Acolyte; Eredrim, The Venerable; and Proxima, The Broodseeker – and runs for over 11 minutes.
Mortal Shell II serves as a standalone sequel to the original game and is set in a condensed open world that boasts over 60 dungeons scattered throughout forests, temples, and citadels. Players will take on the role of the Harbinger, tasked with retrieving the stolen Ova of the blessed Undermether from the monsters that guard it.
