Japanese publisher FuRyu and developer Aquria have announced that the highly anticipated Varlet will now be releasing a day earlier in the west, aligning with its Japanese launch date on August 27th. The game will be available on Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, and PS5.

One of the key features of Varlet is its innovative Triad Stats system, which influences character progression based on player decisions. Divided into Light and Dark Triad traits, these six distinct attributes shape the protagonist’s journey. Players will face various situations at school where they must make choices that contribute to their character’s Triad. These decisions can unlock new combat options, with the Dark Triad offering powerful skills and the Light Triad providing valuable buffs to support allies or unlock unique choices during the main scenario.
