Gaijin Entertainment Announces Aces of Thunder for PSVR 2 and PC VR
Gaijin Entertainment, the studio known for War Thunder (2013), has revealed that their upcoming aerial VR combat game Aces of Thunder is set to launch on PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets later this year.
Initially scheduled for a Q4 2024 release, Aces of Thunder will feature a variety of iconic World War planes from both WWII and WWI eras, promising an immersive gameplay experience on SteamVR and PSVR 2.
In addition to showcasing WWII-era planes, Gaijin has also introduced a selection of WWI-era planes, including the Fokker Dr.I and SPAD S.XIII, each with detailed cockpits, authentic weaponry, and realistic flight mechanics.
The game will include famous aircraft such as the American P-51 Mustang, German Bf 109, Soviet IL-2, British Spitfire, and Japanese A6M3 Zero, among others.
While the exact release date for Aces of Thunder has not been confirmed, Gaijin Entertainment has indicated that it is now targeting a 2025 launch. Interested players can wishlist the game on Steam and the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2.
Pricing details have not been announced yet, but fans can expect more updates and information about Aces of Thunder in the near future.
