Those Nintendo Switch 2 Elden Ring extras are coming to PC as well, just don’t get too excited about them

Last month, FromSoftware announced that Elden Ring would be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, which is great news for fans of the console, but not so much for PC gamers. However, the Switch 2 version of the game will include some new content, and Bandai Namco hinted that these additions will also be available on “other platforms”. Good news for PC players, as the Tarnished Pack DLC will bring these extras to the PC version of the game.

This information was revealed at the first FromSoftware Games Event Spring 2025, covered by Famitsu and detailed by RPG Site. While specifics are scarce, we do know that there will be four new armor sets to collect. Additionally, two new starting classes, Knight of Ides and Heavy Armored Knight, will be introduced. These classes may not be groundbreaking, but they add to the knight options in the game. These classes also correspond to two of the new armor sets.

Players will also have three new appearances for their horse, Torrent, which is an improvement from the previous lack of customization options. More weapons and skills are also being added to the Soulslike experience. FromSoftware has mentioned that the DLC pack will be affordable for non-Switch 2 players, though some may have expected it to be a free update.

Now, we eagerly await the potential PC release of The Duskbloods, a game that has been likened to Not Bloodborne 2 But It’s Basically Bloodborne 2 Except It’s An Online Game.
