Dan Fogler Eyeing Star Wars and Indiana Jones Franchises
Dan Fogler, known for his roles in The Walking Dead and Fantastic Beasts, expressed his interest in joining two iconic franchises at MCM Comic Con London. In an exclusive interview with Tech Advisor, Fogler revealed his desire to be a part of the Indiana Jones world and the upcoming Star Wars project helmed by James Mangold.
“I got to work with Mangold recently on A Complete Unknown… Mangold was connected to Indiana Jones, and he’s going to do a Star Wars movie at some point. So I’m just like, see what happens there. Give him a little text. But I would love to be in that world. I’d love to be in the Indiana Jones world too, if they can squeeze one more movie out of it.”
When reminded of the expanding Star Wars TV universe, Fogler expressed optimism, stating, “There’s so much… the odds are in my favour.”
The Mangold Star Wars project Fogler mentioned was announced in April 2023. Set 25,000 years before the prequel trilogy, the series will delve into the origins of the Jedi and the Force. Additionally, Star Wars fans can look forward to upcoming projects like The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie, Ahsoka season 2, and a film by Taika Waititi.
Aside from Fogler, other stars like David Tennant, known for Doctor Who and Good Omens, teased a mysterious project at Comic Con, adding to the excitement of fans.
