Since its launch, the Steam Deck has become a primary gaming device for many, including myself. The improved OLED model has only enhanced the experience, leading to increased usage and enjoyment.
Surprisingly, I found that the Steam Deck has gradually replaced my other gaming consoles. While attempting to play a new game on my PlayStation 5, I realized that I hadn’t used it for months. The same was true for my Xbox Series X and PC. In contrast, my Nintendo Switch remains active due to its exclusive titles, but even it doesn’t compare to the amount of time I spend gaming on the Steam Deck.

The portability of the Steam Deck has been a game-changer for me. Being able to play my favorite games anywhere has shifted my gaming habits significantly. Even when I intend to play at home, I find myself starting on the Steam Deck for its convenience.
Additionally, the improvements in the Steam Deck itself have been remarkable. The OLED model addresses previous issues, and developers have embraced the platform, making it a reliable choice for a wide range of games.

While I still appreciate my other consoles for their exclusives, the Steam Deck has become my go-to choice for gaming. Its versatility and performance have solidified its place as my primary gaming device, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
