There appears to be a strong connection between Apple enthusiasts and LEGO lovers. With nearly two dozen LEGO-themed apps available for iPhone and iPad users, the collaboration between these two fan bases is evident. Last year, a creative LEGO fan submitted a design for a detailed Apple Store made entirely out of LEGO bricks. The design gained popularity and support on LEGO’s “Ideas” website, where users can submit their concepts for potential LEGO sets.
The LEGO Apple Store design quickly garnered attention, reaching 1,000 supporters within six days of submission and eventually hitting the 10,000 vote milestone to advance to the Review phase. This phase involves a LEGO Review Board evaluating the design to determine if it can become an official LEGO Ideas product.
In essence, there is a possibility that we may see a LEGO Apple Store set available for purchase in the future.
However, it’s important to note that this is still in the consideration stage. The Review Board will assess the design based on LEGO’s standards for playability, safety, and brand fit. The review process occurs three times a year, with the Apple Store set scheduled for the upcoming May review.
The feasibility of the LEGO Apple Store set goes beyond just design evaluation. The Review Board will also consider licensing agreements, potentially including a partnership with Apple. This collaboration could be crucial for the product’s success, as it aims to capture the essence of an actual Apple Store.
While LEGO could opt for a more generic electronics store design, the appeal of an Apple-themed set is clear from the overwhelming support it has received. The review process is expected to take several months, with updates available on the LEGO Ideas page.
If the LEGO Apple Store set moves forward, it will undergo further development and refinement by LEGO model designers before production. This process includes creating the final model, packaging, instructions, and marketing materials for the product.
Once a product idea is selected, it enters the Production phase, where LEGO designers transform the concept into a market-ready LEGO set. The team refines the design, creates building instructions, packaging, and marketing assets, preparing for production in our factory.

The proposed LEGO Apple Store kit consists of 1,539 pieces and features intricate details, including miniatures of current Apple products and nods to iconic Apple designs. While the design is based on an illustrated concept, adjustments may be necessary during the development process to ensure the final product meets LEGO’s standards.
The designer, TrumanBricks, has a history of submitting successful designs on LEGO Ideas, with one design already making it to market. Their creativity and attention to detail are evident in the LEGO Apple Store concept, offering a unique and engaging experience for LEGO and Apple fans alike.
