Gran Turismo 7 has just released its PlayStation 5 Pro update, delivering enhanced visuals and performance on the upgraded console. Along with the update, players can also enjoy the addition of five new cars to their collection.

For PS5 Pro owners, the focus is on the support for their new console. The update introduces a mode that optimizes both visuals and performance by utilizing the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology. Players can also enable ray-traced reflections during races and choose to prioritize ray tracing or resolution in the Display settings, with support for 8K resolution output.

Additionally, PSVR 2 owners will benefit from improved render quality in VR mode and smoother video playback through reprojection.

Aside from the technical enhancements, the update includes new content such as five new cars including a Ford Escort RS Cosworth ’92 and a Mercedes-Benz W 196 R ’55, as well as the introduction of Gran Turismo Sophy AI on select tracks.
