The Elder Scrolls: Blades to Shut Down this Summer
Bethesda has announced they’re shutting down The Elder Scrolls: Blades, their second foray into smartphone gaming. The game will be discontinued on June 30th, and it has already been removed from iOS, Android, and the Switch eShop.
Players can continue to enjoy the game until the shutdown date and will receive a free bundle of Gems and Sigils, the in-game currency. Additionally, all in-game items have been marked down to only one Gem or Sigil each.
Initially released in 2020 for iOS, Android, and later on Switch, The Elder Scrolls: Blades attracted over a million players. A new smartphone spinoff, The Elder Scrolls: Castles, is now available for those looking for a similar gaming experience.
