'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Co-op VR Game Coming to Quest & PC VR in 2026

Cortopia Studios, the developers of the highly anticipated GORN 2 (2025), have exciting news for VR gamers. They have announced that they are currently working on a ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ game that is set to be released on Quest and SteamVR headsets in the coming year.

The game, titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, is still under wraps, with only a brief teaser trailer released by Cortopia Studios and publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment. However, a few screenshots have been shared, giving a glimpse of the game’s comic book-style cel-shaded graphics and New York City settings.

One of the standout features of the game is the four-player co-op mode, allowing players to embody the iconic characters Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. Each turtle will have their signature weapon, offering players the chance to engage in precise strikes and blocks in a first-person action-packed adventure.

Aside from combat, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City will also incorporate ninja-style parkour elements, allowing players to traverse urban landscapes and take on “fan-favorite villains” along the way.

Although the game is set after the demise of the Shredder, players can expect to encounter familiar foes such as the Foot Clan members and other adversaries. Additionally, characters like April O’Neil and Master Splinter will make appearances, along with a fully explorable Turtles’ lair.

The release date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City is scheduled for 2026, with the game available for wishlisting on the Horizon Store for Quest and on Steam for PC VR headsets.
