Publisher Awaken Realms has officially announced the upcoming full release of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon on May 23rd. Serving as a sequel to Tainted Grail: Conquest, this open world fantasy action RPG will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS. The game features a captivating branching storyline that immerses players in a rich and expansive world.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon boasts three distinct regions for players to explore: the Misty Horns of the South, the sun-soaked lands of Cuanacht, and the snowy expanse of Forlorn Swords. With over 200 side quests, 250 unique non-playable characters, 400 weapons and shields, 50 spells, numerous dungeons, 100 enemy types, and a multitude of endings based on player choices, the game promises a truly immersive experience.

One of the major updates for the full release is the addition of a third-person perspective, offering players a fresh vantage point to enjoy the game’s stunning landscapes and engaging combat. Awaken Realms is currently accepting applications for playtesting the 1.0 build, giving players the opportunity to provide feedback and help shape the final release.

In a review of Tainted Grail: Conquest, Jason praised the game, stating, “Any game so good that you can’t resist doing just one more battle in is a game well worth paying attention to, and Tainted Grail definitely manages that.”
