The expansion will kick off the Godless Realms Saga story arc, offering players a thrilling new chapter in the Warrior of Light's journey. One of the most exciting announcements was the collaboration with Khara Inc. to bring an Evangelion Crossover Alliance Raid to Evercold. This unique raid will surely delight fans of both Final Fantasy XIV and the iconic anime series. Evercold will also introduce a revamped battle system with two distinct modes: Reborn and Evolved. Players can look forward to a new seasonal structure for rewards, character growth, an armoury update, and enhanced character customization options. The road to Evercold will be paved with exciting content updates leading up to Patch 8.0, including new main scenario quests, trials, and more. For newcomers, the Free Trial of Final Fantasy XIV will now include the Shadowbringers expansion, providing access to a wealth of content up to Patch 5.58. This expansion of the Free Trial offers a perfect opportunity for players to dive into the world of Eorzea.
