He believes that while the Switch 2 could be a massive hit, it may not surpass the original Switch. Piscatella mentioned that predicting the success of an outlier like the Switch is challenging. He noted that the enhanced features of the Switch 2, such as being bigger and more powerful, may not be enough to attract a new audience beyond existing Switch owners. The initial trailer for the Switch 2 showcases its larger size and new Mario Kart game, which is exciting but may not be a significant selling point for the console. Piscatella mentioned that there could be more surprises in store that have not been leaked yet. Fans will have to wait for the official Direct to learn more about the Switch 2's features.
