Broodry saw an opportunity to repurpose these signs into warm shelters for stray cats, providing them with a safe haven during the colder months. Broodry, always up for a creative challenge, saw the potential in turning these corrugated plastic signs, which are not easily recyclable, into insulated shelters for stray cats. By providing them with a weather-resistant shelter, Broodry not only helps the cats stay warm but also addresses the issue of overpopulation and the spread of illness among feral cats. Impact of Cat Shelters While concerns exist about the impact of stray cats on native wildlife, offering them shelters can help prevent them from seeking refuge in less desirable places like sheds or porches. Start by cutting the wood to form the frame, then cut the signs into sections and assemble them to create insulated walls, roof, and floor panels.
