OpenAI has recently introduced ChatGPT Translate, a new web translation tool that supports more than 50 languages. This tool is positioned as a direct competitor to Google Translate, offering a similar user interface with two text boxes for inputting source text and displaying translated results, as well as dropdown menus for selecting languages. OpenAI has not disclosed which AI model powers their translation tool, leaving some mystery surrounding its capabilities.
