NBC News’s David Ingram conducted an analysis of a month's worth of Elon Musk's social media posts, delving into the patterns and topics that dominated his feed during that period. Surprisingly, Musk made a staggering 1,716 posts between September 17th and October 17th, averaging over 55 posts per day. A significant 49 percent of his posts revolved around politics, often focusing on fringe perspectives. Musk displayed a particular fixation on the representation of race in television and movies, even targeting child actors in his critiques. In addition to politics, Musk frequently discussed topics such as crime, Tesla, and, unsurprisingly, himself. Over the 30-day period, he posted about himself a whopping 109 times, often sharing content from fan accounts dedicated to praising him. While Musk's penchant for controversial political commentary and self-promotion was already known, this analysis provides concrete data to support these observations.
