Indie Japanese developer REBUILD GAMES has partnered with Phoenixx to publish Summer Road later this year. This unique roguelite RPG blends multiple genres and is scheduled for release on PC via Steam in 2025. Summer Road will be showcased at BitSummit 2025 from July 18th to the 20th at both the Phoenixx and Gyaar Studio booths. Here's an overview of the game along with a recent trailer: This RPG features auto AI focused on hack-and-slash equipment replacement. From melee to long-range weapons and recovery, players manage their equipped items to enhance gameplay. Join Mogumo, a mysterious creature, and three girls on their adventures. Features Auto-AI Three player characters automatically move and fight using AI. Players oversee each character's AI-driven movements as they progress through the game. Hack-and-Slash Combat rewards players with randomly obtained equipment to boost their characters. The AI actions vary based on equipment combinations, such as "Bat" + "Dash Boots" = "Dash Bat Swing". Players can replace equipment in real-time, making equipment management a key aspect of the game. 10 Minute RPG The game's objective is to head eastwards towards a "mysterious light in the far east." Each playthrough lasts about 10 minutes, with the adventure's outcome influenced by random events, party building, and route choices. The ultimate goal is to repeat the adventure and reach the true ending, providing a satisfying RPG experience through multiple playthroughs.
