The tool also allows for non-personal removal requests, such as reporting illegal content, which are logged for review. The redesigned hub enables users to monitor the status of their removal requests and offers additional features, such as requesting a data refresh for inaccurate information. In a previous overhaul in 2023, Google introduced proactive features that scan search results for user data and added the ability to remove nonconsensual explicit images. Google advises users to regularly check the "Results About You" hub, which automatically identifies new instances of personal data in search results and allows for swift removal requests.
