Following my SwitchBot S20 review, I have had the opportunity to explore the new K11+ mini robot vacuum from SwitchBot. This model is the successor to the K10+ series, with the K11+ being an incremental upgrade. The most noticeable change is the smaller base station, along with upgrades to the vacuum itself, such as increased suction power, a new anti-tangle brush, and side brush. The SwitchBot K11+ vs. K10+ Specification: - Product Size: The K11+ vacuum measures 248×248×92 mm, while the base station is 240×180×250 mm. - Cleaning Area: The K11+ is designed to clean narrow areas, low areas, and corners effectively. - Battery: The vacuum is equipped with a 3200mAh battery that offers up to 150 minutes of cleaning time. - Cleaning Mode: The K11+ can vacuum or wipe surfaces. - Brush: It features an anti-tangle rubber brush. - Side Brush: The K11+ comes with an anti-tangle V-shaped side brush. - Noise: The vacuum operates at a noise level of 45dB ≤ noise＜48dB in Quiet Cleaning Mode. - Highest Suction Power: The K11+ boasts a suction power of 6000Pa. - Filtration Type: HEPA filtration is used in the K11+. - Water Tank: The K11+ does not have a water tank for mopping. - Navigation: It utilizes LiDAR SLAM technology for navigation. - Obstacle Avoidance: LiDAR SLAM (LSD) + Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) is used for obstacle avoidance. - Wi-Fi: The vacuum supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. - Capacity: The dust bag has a capacity of 4L. - Carpet Detection: The K11+ uses current detection for carpet detection. Overall, the SwitchBot K11+ is a capable and compact robot vacuum that excels in hard floor cleaning, pet hair removal, and edge cleaning. While it may have limitations in deep carpet cleaning and lacks a water tank for mopping, its practical design, strong suction power, and smart home integration make it a compelling choice for users looking for an efficient and discreet cleaning solution.
