One of the more recent trends that I have been enjoying is goofy extraction games. Whether Lethal Company sparked this trend or if it's just a result of everyone who spent hours playing games like Left 4 Dead 2 as teenagers developing similar interests, I couldn't say for sure. However, I have grown quite fond of games like Lethal Company, Content Warning, and more recently Repo, despite its questionable key art.
