Splitgate 2 Returning to Beta Developers 1047 Games have announced that Splitgate 2 will be taken "back to beta" as they admit it was launched too early. This decision comes as the second round of layoffs at 1047 Games this year, with an unspecified number of developers let go in June. The studio also plans to shut down the original Splitgate servers due to financial constraints. They are exploring options for supporting offline or peer-to-peer matches to keep the game accessible to fans.
