Specifically, the Phone Link app on Windows should be updated to version 1.24112.73 or higher, while the Link to Windows app on iPhone should be on version 1.24112.89.0 or higher. Additionally, users need to have an iPhone running iOS 16 or later.Transferring files from an iPhone to a Windows PC is a simple process. Users just need to locate the file on their iPhone, click the share icon, and select the "Link to Windows" option. They can then choose the target device to complete the transfer. To transfer files from a Windows PC to an iPhone, users can right-click on the desired file, select "Share," and then click on "My Phone" to start the transfer.This new feature is accessible through the Phone Link app, previously known as Your Phone, which facilitates communication and file-sharing between Windows PCs and mobile devices. By extending this capability to iPhones, Microsoft is aiming to enhance compatibility and user experience within its ecosystem.Currently, this feature is only available to members of the Windows Insider program, a group that tests early features and updates.
