Toby Fox Announces Final Chapters of DELTARUNE Coming in 2025 Indie developer Toby Fox has announced that fans can expect the next and final chapters of DELTARUNE to be released in 2025. The highly anticipated continuation of the Undertale sequel will include Chapter 3 and 4, marking the completion of the series. In a recent Halloween post, Fox expressed his excitement for the upcoming releases, stating, "I’m very eager to show you what we’ve made since 6 years ago. Chapter 3 and 4 will 100% come out in 2025. The specific time is still relying on localization and console porting. Please hear me clawing at the door trying to escape the shallow coffin I have been buried in." DELTARUNE originally debuted in 2018 with Chapter 1, followed by Chapter 2 in 2021. Fox previously hinted at the completion of both chapters last Halloween, indicating that the final chapters were nearing their release. While the first two chapters of DELTARUNE are currently available for free, Fox plans to transition the game to a paid release once Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 are finalized. Despite its incomplete state, DELTARUNE can be played on Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 with the existing chapters.
