Path of Exile PS5 Native Client Update Grinding Gear Games recently provided an update on the development progress of the Path of Exile PS5 native client. The studio confirmed that they are working on a new client specifically for the PlayStation 5. However, due to Sony treating it as a new title, the client has to undergo the certification process once again before it can be approved. In their official statement, Grinding Gear Games mentioned, “The PlayStation 5 native client is treated as a new title submission on PlayStation 5, which means it requires all new PlayStation 5 services integrations like party and trophies. While the game client itself is complete, we are in the process of making minor adjustments to meet the certification requirements. These adjustments should not take long to implement. The PlayStation 5 client will also feature a new set of trophies, similar to the PlayStation 4 trophies, which will be automatically unlocked upon logging in to the game.
