The startup scene in Central Eurasia is currently thriving. It all began with 485 applications from 27 different countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Pakistan, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, UAE, UK, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. This has led to the largest startup pitch competition ever seen in Central Eurasia. The "Road to the Battlefield" is providing the region's most promising entrepreneurs a direct route to DailyTech Startup Battlefield 2025, one of San Francisco's most prestigious startup stages. Organized by Silkroad Innovation Hub in collaboration with DailyTech and Freedom Holding, the Road to the Battlefield competition is more than just a typical startup contest. It signifies a significant milestone for a region that has been steadily building a dynamic tech ecosystem and will be remembered as the event that placed Central Eurasia on the global startup map. "At Silkroad Innovation Hub, our goal is to shine a spotlight on Central Eurasia in the global startup and VC arena," said Asset Abdualiyev, CEO and Founder of Silkroad Innovation Hub. "This initiative marks a crucial milestone as DailyTech, for the first time, hosted a regional competition to discover outstanding startups for their esteemed Battlefield competition. What started as a mere idea has now become the largest startup competition in the history of Central Eurasia, demonstrating a significant interest from founders across the region in creating truly innovative companies and showcasing them on a global stage. From July 21 to August 12, 380 startups pitched in nine national rounds online, delivering an impressive 32 hours of pitching content. The competition showcased remarkable diversity, with 35% of participating startups founded by female entrepreneurs, and the youngest entrepreneur, just 14 years old, hailing from Unify (Uzbekistan).
