Hello fellow gamers, I have some important news to share from the world of PlayStation Studios. As I mentioned during the December Town Hall meeting, 2025 was a standout year for us. Titles like Ghost of Yotei, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Helldivers II, and MLB The Show all made waves in the gaming community with their success. However, the gaming industry is facing challenges with rising costs, changing player behavior, and economic uncertainties. In light of this, we have had to make some tough decisions. One of them is the closure of Bluepoint Games in March. This was not an easy choice to make. The team at Bluepoint has been instrumental in delivering top-notch gaming experiences for our players. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication, and we will do our best to support those affected by this decision. Despite these challenges, our commitment to creativity and innovation remains unwavering.
