Post-quantum security is not an afterthought in the cryptocurrency ecosystem; it is fundamental to its mathematical foundations. The tools for a quantum-safe future are already in place, ready to be implemented when necessary. While quantum computing will undoubtedly reshape the technological landscape, it will not spell the end for Bitcoin. Instead, it will drive the adoption of more robust and future-proof cryptographic solutions, ensuring the longevity of blockchain technology. It is essential for cryptographers, researchers, and developers to acknowledge the inevitability of the quantum shift and prepare accordingly. By embracing post-quantum security measures, such as STARK-based systems, blockchain networks can not only survive but thrive in the face of quantum threats.
