Following the official announcement of the project's cancellation, Kole released a series of artwork from "Project Dragon", showcasing the creative efforts that went into the now-scrapped venture. It's important to note that the cancelation of Crash Bandicoot 5 does not reflect the work of Toys for Bob as a whole, and the specific team behind the fifth installment remains undisclosed. Kole clarified that "Project Dragon" was a separate endeavor from the beloved Spyro the Dragon franchise, where Toys for Bob gained recognition for their exceptional work on the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Apologizing for any confusion, Kole emphasized, "'Dragon' is our code name for the totally new IP we were developing for over 3 years, not related to Spyro."
