Kalypso Media has announced the upcoming release of Sudden Strike 5, the next installment in the popular Sudden Strike series. Scheduled for release in 2026, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS. To celebrate this announcement, Kalypso Media has discounted Sudden Strike 4 until Sunday 20th July, offering the base game and all DLC for just $16. Additionally, an announcement trailer for Sudden Strike 5 has been unveiled.
Continuing the tradition of its predecessors, Sudden Strike 5 will be set in World War 2 and feature real-time strategy gameplay. The game will include 25 missions in the main campaign, with a total of 300 units at players’ disposal – 190 vehicles and 110 infantry units. Players can choose a commander that matches their strategic style. The game’s overhead view of the battlefield allows for strategic planning to capture and defend key resources such as headquarters and supply depots. Sudden Strike 5 will also introduce online PvP multiplayer, enabling players to compete against each other to demonstrate their tactical prowess.
For those eager to experience Sudden Strike 5 before its official release, a closed beta will be held for players to provide feedback to the developers. To participate in the closed beta, interested individuals can sign up via the official Sudden Strike 5 website.
